1940's Simplicity 1594 Vintage Sewing Pattern Teen-Age Chemise Dress: The bodice and skirt are cut in one and a gusset is inserted at the underarm. The neck and lower edge of the sleeve are gathered and bound. In Style I, top-stitched ribbon trims the dress. The belt is made of ribbon and has tie ends of self fabric. Style II has a purchased belt.
