1960's Simplicity 7872 Vintage Sewing Pattern Berets, Hood, Ascot or Sash: The lined, top-stitched beret V. 1 has two crown sections and self fabric bias band. The lined top-stitched beret V. 2 has eight crown sections, self fabric band cut on straight grain and optional top-stitching. V. 1 & 2 feature an ascot which may be worn as a sash. The lined hood V. 3 with slit in center back seam has front loop and button closing under chin.
