1940's Simplicity 1738 Vintage Sewing Pattern Junior Misses' One-Piece Dress with Detachable Peplum: The bodice is darted at the front underarm, front and back waistline and joins the gathered skirt at the natural waistline. The keyhole neckline is fastened with a bow. The cuffs are formed from a turn-back facing. In Style I a detachable peplum circles the waist and the front ends are turned back. The facings at the peplum and cuffs are made in contrast.
